SCU is collaborating with Pakistan State Oil (PSO) on energy transition, supplying EVMS PRO DC fast charging stations for deployment across 15 PSO service stations in Pakistan. The project combines PSO’s established energy network with SCU EV charging technology, expanding access to fast charging while preparing selected service stations for the changing needs of electric mobility.
PSO is Pakistan’s largest energy company and a leading player in the country’s energy sector, with an extensive nationwide network of service stations and a strong presence across the energy value chain.

SCU is supplying EVMS PRO DC fast charging stations in 80-160 kW configurations, allowing charging capacity to be selected according to the requirements of individual sites. Each EVMS PRO features dual CCS2 charging guns and a 15-inch display for a straightforward charging experience.
Built for High-Utilization Public Charging
With operations of up to 20 hours per day, an SCU EVMS PRO can serve approximately 30 vehicles daily under typical operating conditions. A fast-charging session can take around 35–45 minutes, depending on the vehicle, battery capacity and state of charge. Based on an average energy delivery of approximately 48 kWh per vehicle and a charging rate of PKR 120/kWh, a well-utilized station could process around 1,440 kWh of charging energy per day, equivalent to approximately PKR 170,000 in daily gross charging revenue before electricity and operating costs.

By integrating DC fast charging across 15 service stations, PSO is extending its established energy network to support the shift toward cleaner, electric mobility. SCU EV charging technology provides the scalable infrastructure behind this transition.

Advanced Charging Technology for a Scalable Network
EVMS PRO features dual CCS2 charging guns and a 15-inch display for a straightforward charging experience.
EVMS PRO uses a modular, scalable architecture, giving operators greater flexibility in system configuration and future capacity planning. This is particularly relevant for multi-site networks, where traffic, available power and charging demand can vary significantly from one location to another.
EVMS PRO also supports OCPP, enabling connection with charging management systems for networked operation and centralized management.

SCU will continue to collaborate with PSO on the development and expansion of EV charging infrastructure in Pakistan. By combining SCU’s expertise in charging technology with PSO’s extensive energy service network, the two companies will work together to enhance charging accessibility, support the growing needs of EV users, and contribute to the long-term development of electric mobility across the country.
