Czech solar PV plus BESS Project - SCU

Czech solar PV plus BESS Project

Affected by COVID-19 and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, European countries’ energy prices rise much, this has led to a shortage of power supply in Europe and a surge in electricity prices. In many countries, electricity prices for large-scale consumers are set with reference to their maximum peak load. Many enterprises with high energy consumption began to reduce the power grid consumption by installing photovoltaic systems and battery energy storage, that is peak shaving. Peak shaving refers to leveling out peaks in electricity use by industrial and commercial power consumers.

One of our customers is Aerosol factory, produce aerosol, polyurethane foam, and construction chemicals. To reduce the electricity prices, the customer will install 400kWp solar panels and 350kW on grid inverter, the solar generating energy will be supplied to the load directly to reduce the peak load power and save some electricity cost, and add our GRES-300-200 300kWh/200kW integrated energy storage system to store the extra energy and supply to the load when solar energy is insufficient or stopped generating.

Our GRES integrated BESS is a turnkey solution, integrating battery, BMS, PCS, air conditioning, fire protection, and protection device (circuit breaker) all in one cabinet. Compared with the traditional stationary energy storage power station, the modular design of the GRES integrated energy storage system uses the standardized outdoor box design, and the internal structure is of the shock-absorbing design. It can be hoisted by an overhead crane, can be mounted, can be fixed, has strong mobility, and is not limited by region.
