Background
In Southeast Asia, with government policies supporting new energy vehicles, more and more companies are prioritizing the green transformation of factory transportation. This is particularly true in manufacturing parks, where electric delivery vehicles, commuter vehicles, and employee electric vehicles are becoming the primary mode of transportation. To ensure efficient and sustainable daily operations, a factory in Thailand partnered with SCU to implement a high-efficiency DC EV charging solution.

60kW CCS2 CHAdeMO EV Charger
SCU provided the factory with a 60kW DC EV charger featuring dual-standard interfaces for CCS2 and CHAdeMO, accommodating a wide range of electric vehicle charging needs. Deployed within the factory campus, this solution specifically provides energy support for internal electric vehicles and offers the following highlights:
- Serving diverse scenarios: meeting the transportation needs of electric delivery vehicles, the daily operations of commuter vehicles, and convenient charging for employee electric vehicles.
- Efficient and fast charging: With a maximum power of 60kW, it can quickly recharge vehicles within a limited timeframe, improving vehicle utilization.
- Intelligent safety design: Built-in overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection ensures stability and reliability even in high-frequency operating environments.
- Green and Energy-Saving: Replacing fuel-powered vehicles with electric vehicles effectively reduces carbon emissions and noise pollution within the factory.

Project Results
After the charging station went into operation, the factory achieved full electrification of internal transportation. Energy security:
Improved operational efficiency: Logistics vehicles and commuter buses can be charged at any time, ensuring smooth transportation and commuting.
Optimized Employee Experience: Providing convenient charging points for employees has increased employee engagement and satisfaction with green travel.
Significant Environmental Benefits: Significantly reduced fossil fuel consumption and carbon emissions, aligning with the company’s green development strategy.
Outlook
SCU will continue to provide customized EV charging and energy storage solutions to corporate users, supporting more factories and industrial parks in achieving electrification and sustainable development, and promoting the transformation of industrial transportation systems towards a green and low-carbon future.
