SCU Electric Vehicle DC Fast Chargers have been installed and will install more in Romanian to boost the country’s Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure. SCU Electric Vehicle DC Fast Chargers cover 30kW, 60kW, 150kW, 180kW ranges. Romania is aiming to decarbonize its transportation sector to reach ZERO CARBON EMISSIONS by 2050.
There are lots of countries in the EU that pledge to achieve NET ZERO EMISSIONS by 2050. Romania is one of them. How to achieve this target?
Greenhouse (GHG) emissions from transport in Romania have increased considerably since 1995 when they amounted to 9.2 million tons of CO2 equivalent. By 2020, GHG emissions from transport peaked at 18.7 million tons of CO2. In 2020, road transportation accounted for more than 95 percent of Romania’s greenhouse emissions from transport. Railways ranked second, totaling GHG emissions of 0.4 million tons of CO2 equivalent. Thus, one important key department involved in this ZERO CARBON EMISSION process is the transportation sector.
On the other hand, the government is also targeting to reduce the consumption of Russian energy demand and working for a different support mechanism in the near term for renewable and nuclear production, as well as carbon capture and electricity storage technologies.
SCU focus on Electric Vehicle Charging Solution & Lithium Battery Energy Storage Solution, delighted to supply our products to Romania to help its ZERO CARBON EMISSIONS process.
