SCU Participated in 2025 TÜV SÜD EV Charging System Seminar

On May 21, SCU participated in the Electric Vehicle Charging System Seminar, hosted by TÜV SÜD Group and co-organized by Beijing Testin Communication Technology Co., Ltd. The event provided an opportunity for in-depth exchanges with industry experts and outstanding enterprise representatives on cutting-edge technologies and international certification challenges.

Focus on Change: Standard Upgrade and Global Market Challenges

China’s electric vehicle charging industry is developing rapidly, and new energy vehicle exports lead the world. However, the complex export certification process and insufficient understanding of regulations have caused many companies to face high time and economic costs when entering the international market.

Industry standards are also in a rapid iteration period:

  • IEC 61851:2023 and IEC 62196 new versions of standards have been implemented.
  • Information security standard EN 18031 has entered the mandatory stage.
  • The market demand for high-power charging solutions has surged, placing higher demands on manufacturers’ technical capabilities.
