We are pleased to announce that our electric vehicle charging station has successfully passed the testing and certification of the Open Charge Alliance (OCA), an important global open standards organization. This certification proves the technical capability and stability of our company’s charging station, which meets the relevant standards and requirements of OCA.
Founded in 2010, the OCA is a globally recognized consortium of public and private electric vehicle infrastructure leaders that promote open standards through the development of the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) and the Open Smart Charging Protocol (OSCP). The OCA aims to ensure interoperability between charging stations and electric vehicles and to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility through the development of open standards.
SCU’s EV charger underwent rigorous testing and certification by OCA and was found to be fully compliant with the organization’s OCPP and OSCP protocols, meeting all of the interoperability and performance requirements set forth by the OCA.
